ETA believes in contributing to the well-being of others and giving back to the community. Every year, ETA employees participate in various charitable efforts in and around the Philadelphia area.

Philadelphia Cares Day October 18, 2008 ETA is honored to participate in the upcoming Philadelphia Cares event, a marathon day of service that provides our children more attractive, functional, and safe learning environments. Team ETA will join more than 500 local volunteers to help paint, refurbish, landscape, repair and beautify over 100 local schools. For more information, visit The Philadelphia Cares Day Website
City to Shore Bike Tour September 27th and 28th, 2008 For the third year running, ETA employees, family and friends are joining together to participate in this year's City to Shore Bike Tour fund-raising event for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This year's goal is to raise $7,000 for the MS Society.
Caring People Alliance Yearly Golf Outing May 13th, 2008 As a commitee member, ETA Partner Ed Terry along with fellow leadership helped to organize and fundraise for Caring People Alliance's yearly golf outing. This was a day filled of fun, food and golf with the ultimate goal being funds raised for the organization's programs and services. Caring People Alliance is an organization dedicated to serving children and strenthing families throughout Philadelphia. Learn more about Caring People Alliance.
Read Across America March 2008 ETA was proud to take part in this year's Read Across America initiative celebrating the birthday and legacy of Theodore Guisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Organized by Philadelphia Reads, a non-profit organization promoting child literacy, approximately 500 business, civic and education leaders including seven ETA employees took part by reading to students in Philadelphia schools. ETA Food and Coat Drive November 19th, 2007 through January 21st, 2008 ETA is partnered with Philabundance and Philadelphia Cares for our second annual food & coat drive. We successfully collected over three hundred pounds of food along with more than 150 coats. These donations will be given directly to Philadelphia residents in need. Special thanks goes to our employees and neighbor companies for their donations.
ETA Project Career Wardrobe April 15th through June 1st, 2007 ETA is partnered with Philadelphia Cares to collect women's and men's business attire to be given to people in need that are re-entering the workplace. Over 250 pounds of clothing was collected! Donations made a significant impact on those committed to looking for employment by giving them the attire they need to be confident and successful.
ETA Program Recycle Cell Phone Drive February 2007 ETA reached their goal of successfully collecting over 100 used cell phones that were donated to the Laurel House, a women's shelter in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The shelter will receive money for the recycled phone parts. This money will be used to help offset the costs of their various programs and initiatives. A special thanks goes to our customer base for their generous donations.
Read to Me Literacy Program November 29, 2006 Some of ETA's employees are participating by reading books to young children in Philadelphia. As a sponsor of this program, ETA is also donating $500. This wonderful program gives us the opportunity to read to Philadelphia's children and share the gift of knowledge.
